It Can Be Difficult At The Start
A negative regarding intermittent fasting is that it tends to have a very high dropout rate. Thatâs because it can be a very tough approach to adapt if you donât have the willpower to follow through or the knowledge to know how to begin. We are used to getting rewards or âcheat daysâ on our diets and feeling proud after weâve done some hard work. But, depriving ourselves of food and drink makes those things even harder to achieve. Not to mention that your hormones and hunger pangs are in full effect when youâre first depriving yourself of food. This is especially difficult when a person doesnât fully understand how to begin intermittent fasting. They may jump into a sixteen hour fast without ever previously fasting. The stark change is difficult to adjust to, leading them to feel like itâs too hard or that theyâre a failure. If you begin slowly and use the tools you learn within this book you absolutely will succeed.
